Refund Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Care is billed for hours actually provided, as described in each client's service agreement. This policy explains cancellations, prepayments, and corrections.
Consultations
In-home consultations are free.
Cancellations
- Visits cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are not charged.
- Late cancellations may be charged a short-notice fee disclosed in your service agreement, because the caregiver's time was reserved. The fee is waived for hospitalizations, medical emergencies, and the death of the client.
- If we cancel or can't staff a scheduled visit, there's no charge, and we'll work quickly to arrange coverage.
Prepayments and deposits
If you prepaid for care that wasn't provided, the unused balance is refunded within 10 business days after services end or the account is closed. Any deposit is refunded under the terms stated in your service agreement.
Service concerns
If a visit didn't meet the care plan, for example a caregiver arrived significantly late or tasks weren't completed, tell us within 7 days. We'll review the visit records and credit the affected time when the concern is confirmed.
Billing errors
Report suspected billing errors within 60 days of an invoice. Confirmed overcharges are refunded or credited within 10 business days.
How to request a refund
Email support@mcacareproviders.us or call (305) 258-6174 with the client's name, the dates involved, and details. We acknowledge within 1 business day and respond in writing within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method.
Disputes
If you disagree with our decision, see the dispute resolution section of our Terms of Service.
